New mall shines in Damansara Heights

The doors to Pavilion Damansara Heights Mall open, with its first phase ushering in a new era of shopping and entertainment in Kuala Lumpur.

This pivotal phase introduces a curated selection of speciality stores, diverse dining experiences and lifestyle services, with 100 vibrant shops.

Located in Pusat Bandar Damansara, the mall is accessible from Sprint Highway, Duta-Ulu Kelang Expressway (DUKE), Penchala Link and Federal Highway.

It is conveniently connected to an MRT station, offering easy access to the increasing number of office workers and residents in the area.

Malaysia Book of Records representatives were on hand on opening day as the mall enters the record book for having the largest statue of three golden rams – measuring 4.8m tall, 3.7m long and 3m wide – and highest number of Murano glass lights on its facade, a whopping 2,888 units.

Kuala Lumpur Pavilion Sdn Bhd retail chief executive officer Datuk Joyce Yap said Pavilion was confident in unveiling phase one now, given the area’s improved connectivity, the imminent festive season and the recent handing over of eight corporate office tower blocks and handing over of residential towers soon.

“We anticipate a strong launch, as affluent neighbourhoods like Bangsar and Damansara Heights surround us, along with a growing community of nearby residents and office workers eager for access to basic needs, convenient lifestyle services and dining options.

“The Pavilion DNA has consistently revolved around blending comfort and convenience into the shopping experience, coupled with top-notch services.

“This approach harmonises with the space’s design and architecture, aligning seamlessly with the latest trends and retail market demands,” she added.

This mall, once completed, will span across six floors.

Also present during the grand opening of the mall were Pavilion group executive chairman Puan Sri Cindy Lim, Pavilion group public affairs director Datuk Wong Thian Sang, Global Oriental Bhd executive director Gan Vi King, Brickfields OCPD ACP Amihizam Abdul Shukor and Impian Ekspresi Sdn Bhd director Datuk Lee Whay Hoong.
