KL Pavilion Design Studio is looking for experienced design architects who can pair creative and leadership skills effectively. This is a role for passionate, visionary individuals who can rise to the occasion in tandem with the heights KL Pavilion Design Studio will venture into in the coming years. 

The projects the individual will be involved in demand no less, as you will be realising the landmarks of tomorrow's Kuala Lumpur. Together with an award-winning team, you will bring creative masterpieces to life be they high-end retail, hospitality, commercial or residential projects. Excellent communication skills and a sound understanding of stakeholder management are highly-desirable.

These projects will elevate the landscape of the nation's capital and are bound to be considered for a variety of awards given the aspirations of the Studio and its clients.

Responsibilities

  • Take up a leadership role and assume responsibility for all phases of design and presentations

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture
  • Minimum 5 years successful design experience in design, detailing and supervision of high-end retail or hospitality projects
  • Able to develop design concepts from start to finish in a creative manner consistent with firm-wide standards
  • Background in retail centre, high-rise residential, hotel and mixed-use development projects will be a bonus
  • Collaborating with clients, jurisdictions, consultants, and in-house studios while implementing excellent design solutions
  • Strong leadership, creative design concept, presentation and communications skills are essential
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to conduct presentations and technical conversations with design team, staff, architects and engineers
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, 3D Software and Adobe Photoshop; skills in Revit will be a bonus
